Darrell Allen

DAZPROFILE

Name: Darrell Allen

Height: 5′ 7″

Weight: 176 lbs

 Hometown: Catford, London

Finisher: Dazzler Twist

Titles held: IPWUK Tag team,

He has wrestled some of the most notable wrestlers in Britain, the London Riots, Zack Sabre Jr, Jimmy Havoc and Doug Williams just to name a few.

Darrell began wrestling at the IPW:UK training academy in 2007.  Being taught mostly by Andy Boy Simmonz, Zack Sabre Jr  & RJ Singh, who had taken Darrell under his wing.  Even allowing Darrell to stand as his corner man, studying the talented techniques and masterful movement of his teacher.   When Darrell was ready they formed a team, the pair had instant chemistry and In 2010 The Bhangra Knights were born.  Very quickly becoming one of the most successful and well known tag teams in the country, the boys from Bhangra were running hot.   After four years the Bollywood duo were still going strong taking out tag teams across the land.  However Darrell had grown resentful and felt RJ was holding him back.  That he was selfishly stopping the young and talented athlete from taking that next step in order to aid his own aging career.

Darrell joined the CWA on January 18th 2014 at Battle For British Hearts, He was teamed with Sam Irvine to go against the Super Scots.  Feeling let down by the absence of his Bhangra brother, Darrell while still not missing a beat could not find the cohesion as a unit with Sam as he had with his former teacher.  A series of miscommunications led to the Scots picking up a win.  Angry, bitter, sick of being labelled a tag team wrestler and having to rely on others, Darrell left that night a very different man.  It was the next night at IPW:UK in Kent as the Bhangra Knights and the London Riots went to war for the IPW:UK tag team titles that he found himself in a very strange place.  Standing tall with the Riots as new champions, he looked down at RJ relishing the beating and betrayal he had just laid upon his former mentor.  He liked this place he felt invigorated and revitalised, a rush of freedom and a new outlook on life.  This refocused, more ruthless mind set has served him well.  In March he beat Will Ospreay in a standout contest, along with several other impressive displays along the way, proving that he is ready to be taken seriously in singles competition.

After witnessing the incredible title match between the man being called the Future of British Wrestling Lazer Lagden and one of the best British wrestlers of any generation Jonny Storm, Darrell has his sights set on the Charity Wrestling Alliance World title, just one of many he hopes to capture as he is claiming to be the best wrestler of his generation and the true future of British Wrestling.
